Privacy policy

What we keep

• Your account: your first and last name, e-mail address and username; your password, passkeys and two-step verification settings, kept by our sign-in service in a form that cannot be read back.
• If you sign in with Google or GitHub: the name, e-mail address and profile photo they share with us. We keep a copy of the photo.
• Your workspaces and organizations: their names, members and roles, the locations and tags you give your servers, and the packages you publish with their versions and publishers.
• What your linked servers report to Console: the SyncBridge version, when it started, and how many of its workers are running, stopped or in trouble, with the names of those in trouble.
• Your servers' worker configurations, if your workspace keeps them (on unless turned off in its settings): each worker's settings and their changes, so a reinstalled server gets them back. Secret values in them, such as passwords and keys, are kept encrypted.
• Activity and alerts: who did what in a workspace, and when (a server linked, a member added, a package published).
• Technical records: IP addresses, browser and request details in our servers' logs, to keep the services running and secure.

When you open a server's own interface through Console, its pages pass through Console to you; we do not keep their content.

Why we keep it

• To give you the services you signed up for: your account, your workspaces, your servers and packages (the contract between us).
• To keep the services secure and working: preventing abuse, finding faults (our legitimate interest).
• To send the e-mails the services need: verifying your address, resetting your password, alerts you ask for.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and storage in your browser

We use only what the services need: the sign-in service's session cookies, Console's cookie for opening a server's interface, and your browser's storage for your session in Console and your choices of language and theme. We use no tracking or advertising cookies.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare, which serves syncbridge.io and Console.
• The provider that sends our e-mails.
• Google Fonts, from which our pages load their font.
• Google or GitHub, only if you choose to sign in with them.

They handle your data on our behalf, or under their own terms where you use them directly. Some of them may process it outside your country, with the safeguards the law requires.

How long we keep it

Your account and what belongs to it, for as long as you have the account. A server's worker configurations, for as long as the server is in the workspace and the workspace keeps them; their changes, for 30 days - a worker's last 20 whatever their age. Turning the backup off in the workspace's settings deletes them at once. Activity records and logs, for as long as they are needed for security and for finding faults, and no longer than the law allows. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your data, except what the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Under the laws that apply to you - in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), in the European Union the GDPR - you may ask us what we keep about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

You can change your name, e-mail address, password, passkeys and two-step verification yourself, in Console's Security page and on the sign-in pages. For anything else, write to us at the address below.

Changes

If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its date; for important changes we also tell you by e-mail or in Console.
